HOI AN TO HUE BY MOTORBIKE TOUR VIA HAI VAN PASS

In the morning, our drivers  will pick up you at where you request in Hoi An or Da Nang, then ride follow the rice fields to visit Marble mountains, explore caves, pagodas on the mountains and sculptures, which made by hand from passion stone.

Then we take you along My Khe beach, where not only voted as one of the most beautiful coastline in Viet Nam, but also very famous as a millitary base of both French and American army, when they started to get fighting in here.

We will travel through Hai Van Pass which means “Sea of Cloudy pass”, where you will be literally surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views,  we can admire the beautiful panorama, and enjoy a number of the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. Then head down for lunch on a floating local restaurant, or a hidden beach without many tourist.

After lunch, we will continue to Dream spring where you can relax and swim. Then we ride along Highway 1 to visit the Tam Giang lagoon, where you will see a local fishing village and trekking around the lagoon. In here you’ll get to meet locals and see how they live and work before arriving in Hue.

HOI AN TO HUE VIA HO CHI MINH TRAIL – 2 DAYS MOTORBIKE TOUR

Day 1: Hoi An Motorbike Adventure Tour to Prao

Option 2: We pick up at your hotel and head to My Son sanctuary where belongs to Champa Kingdom and was built from 4th to 11th century, on the way we also visit a local house where making cracker cake from rice. After that we ride to Thanh My town and cross Thu Bon river by fairy to join to Ho Chi Minh trail. From here we’ll see jungle, lake, Pineapple plantation and minority ethnic village then head to Prao town where we stay for 1 night.

Day 2: Prao Motorbike Adventure Tour to Hue

On this day, we will continue the adventures along the Ho Chi Minh Trail (it was the Trail system was “one of the great achievements of military engineering of the 20th century”).

Visiting another minority village then ride through the pristine jungle along the border of Laos, enjoying spectacular mountain passes. Stopping for swimming and relaxing in the waterfall then continue into the highlands to visit the ethnic minority village before to Aluoi for lunch.

After lunch, we will ride up to the top of Ma Oi Pass, then enter a new planted jungle with paper and rubber plantations, which were destroyed during the war, before arriving in Hue and finish tour here.

Leaving Prao town we will come to the houses-on-stilts belonging to the ethnic minorities on the roads to Khe Sanh. Adventuring along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, visiting another minority village out near the town of Ta Rut we will visit the Co Tu, Pa Co minority people and walk through their village.

Then we ride through one of the longest and most stunning passes in Vietnam while travelling on a new and quiet road, through amazing scenery of primitive forests in the imposing Truong Son mountain range. You will be surprised with the jungle, mountains, and the quietness, peace and amazing views across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail before head to Khe Sanh town. In here we will have a chance to know about the Ta Con old airport, where means the key area of the war to see museum, helicopter or aircrafts,…and also see the coffee plantation here. After that we will ride to the hotel where we stay for the second night to relax and enjoy the peaceful life on mountain.

Day 3: Khe Sanh Motorbike Adventure Tour to Hue

The motorbike ride to Hue today is most from West to East and we will ride along Highway 9. On this drive we’ll pass famous historical Vietnam war sites such as Dakrong bridge, Rock Pile and Doc Mieu base. We visit Truong Son national cemetery (the biggest cemetery in Vietnam) to pay respect with the soldiers sacrificed in war.

From here we cross the former border between North and South Vietnam at the 17th parallel and arrive at the Vinh Moc tunnel where the villagers dug tunnels to move their village 23 meters underground to survive the war. We’ll stop for lunch at Cua Viet beach where you can cool off with a swim before we continue our drive along the beautiful coastline and arrive in Hue around 5:30pm.

HOI AN TO PHONG NHA NATIONAL PARK – 4 DAYS MOTORBIKE TOUR

Day 1: Hoi An Motorbike Adventure Tour to Hue

Firstly we will visit a local cemetary in Hue to pay respecting to the Vietnamese military who died during the Viet Nam war. Then we ride to Quang Tri Old Citadel where was famous with 81 fire days to know more about history here.

After that we will ride along the coast to Cua Tung Queen to Vinh Moc tunnel where the villagers dug tunnels to move their village 23 meters underground to survive the war and have lunch right here. Then we will cross the former border between North and South Vietnam at the 17th parallel to visit DMZ area with Ben Hai river (known as 17th Parallel and also the border line between North and South Viet Nam during the American war) and Hien Luong bridge (a symbol of division, expectation and the pain of loss, a historic witness of Viet Nam’s tragic but ultimately victorious).

In the evening of this drive we’ll ride to East Ho Chi Minh trail and Highway 9 then pass famous historical Vietnam war sites such as Rock Pile, Da Krong bridge before arriving hotel in Khe Sanh town where we stay for the second night.

Day 3: Khe Sanh Motorbike Adventure Tour to Phong Nha

After having a delicious breakfast and local coffee we will have a chance to know about the Ta Con old airport, where means the key area of the war to see museum, helicopter or aircrafts,…and also see the coffee plantation here.

We’ll then have the chance to see the real Ho Chi Minh trail, with its mind-blowing spectacular scenery. We travel through old growth jungle, and mountain ranges with waterfalls and stops at local hill tribe villages on the way, as well as historic relics of the Vietnam war.

We’ll get off the bikes and take a short trek along the border between Laos and Vietnam to enjoy the sounds and the fresh smell of original old growth forest. After lunch we go swimming a spring where nobody know in the mid of jungle, before continuing on to visit the hill tribe village of Van Kieu minority people and then ride to Phong Nha town, enjoy the peace and local life in here.

Day 4: Motorbike Adventure Tour in Phong Nha National Park

In the morning, after breakfast, we take you to the boat station where you have 30 minutes on boat before entering to the longest wet cave of the world. You will have one hour to explore the cave then boat take you back to town for relaxation and lunch.

In the afternoon we will go to Paradise cave, in here you will climd up and explore the caves with beautiful limestone system. Later we take you back to Phong Nha town, you can catch an overnight bus or train to head to the North easily, tour ended here.

1 DAY HUE CITY TOUR

Hue was once the Capital of Vietnam and its now known as the Cultural Capital.

1 DAY HUE TO HOI AN TOUR

Travel over the Hai Van Pass, made famous by the guys on Top Gear.  This Scenic Coast route is simply the best way to travel between Hue and Hoi An if you only have one day!  Note that we can also go from Hoi An to Hue as well.

Travelling south from Hue we pass through villages and rice paddies avoiding the main highway for as long as possible. On the Way to the Pass we stop at Elephant Springs rock pools and Lang Co lagoon & beach.

Hai Van means “Sea of Clouds” and when crossing over the top of the Pass you can be literally surrounded by clouds on one side with stunning ocean views below you on the other.

We then travel through Danang to a stop at the famous China Beach with its fine white sand. The last stop before Hoi An is Marble Mountain, 5 marble outcrops that are topped with delicate pagodas.

2 DAY HUE TO HOI AN

Day 1: Hue to A Luoi to Prao

Heading out of Hue on highway 49 to Aluoi town we ride up to the top of Ma Oi pass, stop for swimming at Mau waterfall and see the handicraft sewing of the Van Kieu ethnic minority.

After lunch at Aluoi town we spend the whole afternoon on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a legendary road in the war time.

You will feel free and relaxed with beautiful landscapes, amazing views from the top of mountains, get off the main road trekking on the real dirt trail, visiting some ethnic minority villages that live along Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Everywhere you go people are smiling and cheerful because they are happy to see foreign tourists.

Overnight in Prao town, free time walking around the mountain town at night.

Day 2: Prao to Hoi An

We continue 52km to Thanh My on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Cross the river by local boat and drive on a village road to My Son a World Heritage site that is the Cham version of Angkor Wat. We stop at My Son to explore the ruins and take many photos.

Then we continue on to Hoi An where we finish the tour.

3 DAY HUE TO HOI AN

Day 1: Hue to DMZ to Khe Sanh

Departing from Hue we ride along highway 1 to Quang Tri town, visiting Long Hung Church and Quang Tri Old Citadel which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights.

We ride along the coast from Cua Viet Beach to Cua Tung Beach a long stretch of beautiful and peaceful coastline. Next we visit the Vinh Moc tunnels and explore the Demilitarised Zone, stopping for lunch at the Doc Mieu Firebase.

In the afternoon we will have short stop at Truong Son cemetary to pay respects to the soldiers who fought and died on the trail during the American War.

Continuing west on highway 9, we will climb into the Truong Son foothills, pass the Rock Pile and stop at some villages and beautiful natural springs and waterfalls near the highway.

Approx 5pm we arrive in Khe Sanh which was established as a forward base by General Westmoreland near Laos to secure highway 9. Check in to hotel, free time at night.

Day 2: Khe Sanh to Aluoi to Prao

After breakfast at a local restaurant we visit Khe Sanh combat base and Ta Con Airbase. Then we head out across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, near the town of Ta Rut we will visit the Pa Co minority people and walk through their village.

Then we ride about 110 km to Aluoi, during this time we cross one of the longest and most stunning passes in Vietnam while travelling on a new and quiet road, through amazing scenery of primitive forests in the imposing Truong son mountain range. We stop for lunch in Aluoi town, then in the afternoon we travel on to Prao and for this 100km you will be surprised with the jungle, mountains, waterfalls and the quietness, peace and amazing views.

On the road we make a lot of stops for photos, breaks, relaxing, trekking or to climb up to the of top mountains. Overnight in Prao town.

Tonight we stay in Son Trach village near the entrance to Phong Nha.

Day 3: Phong Nha to Khe Sanh
